Flamel Studio ("we", "us", "our") operates the Ultimate Potterhead Quiz mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we handle, why, and how.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your device only:

Your chosen display name
Your selected Hogwarts house
Your preferred language
Game progress, coin balance, and in-app unlocks
Trophy and achievement status
Your age group (under 16 or 16 and older)
Notification and app preferences

This game and profile data is stored in the App's local storage and is not sent to Flamel Studio servers. Android cloud backup is disabled for the App.

3. Data We Do Not Collect Directly

We do not collect:

Personal identification information (real name, email address, phone number)
Precise location data
Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry
Account data or social login data

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google AdMob to show rewarded and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may process device and advertising identifiers, approximate location, IP address, diagnostics, and ad interaction data under Google's policies. Users select an age group before ads initialize. Users under 16 receive child-directed, non-personalized ads with a maximum G content rating. For adults, Google's User Messaging Platform requests consent where required. Ads are not requested until the applicable consent flow permits them.

5. Book Recommendations and External Links

The App may show recommendations for Flamel Studio books. Book links and searches open outside the App and may be handled by third-party websites such as Google, Amazon, or the browser chosen by your device. Those websites operate under their own privacy policies.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not ask for a birth date or knowingly collect personal information from children. Users under 16 receive child-directed, non-personalized advertising. Parents and guardians should supervise external links and contact us if they believe a child provided personal information.

7. Data Deletion

To delete all App data, use "Reset progress" in Settings or clear the App's storage/data on your device. This removes locally stored progress, settings, age group, and display name.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
